A phased overview of the construction schedule for The New Modern — from permitting through final finishes. Each phase includes notes on what neighbors can expect.
With permits in hand, the project begins with selective demolition. Interior walls, finishes, and fixtures are carefully removed — salvaging materials where possible. The existing screen porch is removed to make way for the new sun room addition. Hazardous material testing is completed prior to any demolition.
Expect increased truck traffic and some noise during daytime hours (7am–6pm weekdays). The dumpster will be placed in the driveway, not on the street.
